We serve a variety of teas, cakes and pastries at the Lounge Bar.


There are many talented artists in Ghana. Please ask at the Guest Relations Desk for advice on where to buy artifacts.

Our Lounge Bar is open from 10.30 hrs until 1.00 hrs in the morning .We have an extensive list of international drinks and cocktails and serve light snacks from 11.00hrs till 23.00hrs. Banqueting (see Conference)


We have a list of national & international banks available at the Guest Relations desk.

These items can be purchased at the hotel shop.

Beauty Salon (Hairdresser) Ext: 6011

The hairdresser & beauty salon is located on the ground floor near the shops: Opening times are: Mon – Sat 8.30 hrs – 19.00 hrs, Closed on Sundays & Holidays


This meeting room (max 16 persons) is part of our conference facilities.

There is a local car rental representative on the desk opposite the lifts.


There are two Main Casinos in Accra, one at the La Palm Casino and the Millionaires Casino.

Citronelle (Lemon Grass)

We have planted some around the hotel as a deterrent for mosquitoes, but we also serve it as a refreshing and healthy tea at the Bar.

Conference Rooms

We have The Board Room (max. 16 persons), The Meeting room (max 24 persons) and The Conference Room at the first floor, (max 100 persons). In addition there are two large terraces at the second and third floor respectively and both may be used for Cocktail Parties or Receptions. Please ask our Banqueting Manager for details.

We offer international dishes as well as Ghanaian and other African Specialities.


The local currency is the cedi. The largest note is a ¢500,000 note (old cedi). The new currency has much smaller notes i.e.: ¢10,000 changes to ¢1.00 and ¢1000 to Gp10


Should you require a special diet please let us know so that our Executive Chef can arrange it.

Dress Code (Restaurant & Bar)

We do not have a strict dress code. Smart casual - business prefered.


Should you hire a car without driver, please be careful. There is very intense traffic in Ghana and some drivers seem to have their own rules!


There is a Cable/DSTV programme lineup in available each room.

Duty Manager

On a daily basis a team acts as Duty Manager. In case of emergencies or queries kindly contact reception.


This business centre is situated next to the reception. We have 6 computers available for our guests and offer secretarial services as well.

All information regarding Embassies is available at the guest relation desk.

Energy / Electricity

In case of power cuts, there are 2 stand-by generators.


We offer African Fashion from well known Ghanaian designers at the hotel boutique.

Fitness Room

The fitness room is located on the first floor and is equipped with a variety of machines. Our fitness instructor have designed fitness programs for you to stay fit and healthy. Opening times: Mon – Sun 7.00hrs – 21.00hrs


In the unlikely case of a fire outbreak please follow the instructions which are placed at the door in your room. The hotel has installed and placed all necessary equipment like: Smoke Detectors, Fire Extinguisher, Fire Hose, Fire Break Glass and a Fire Location Panel. There are 3 Fire Escape Routes in the hotel. So, please don’t panic!

This is a strange climatic situation in West Africa (usually beginning in December until the end of February). Extremely fine dust is blown from the Sahara which rests everywhere and gives the country a slightly ‘dusty grey ‘ appearance.

The hotel is regularly fumigated to avoid problems with mosquitoes. However, you may want to buy some mosquito spray in the boutique.
